Is it that hard

Honestly, I just spent 13 hours overnight in the hospital. 2 people had to go to intensive care, one lady didn't make it, a handfull of patients are begging for narcotic medications, and all I want is to do is give the info over to the daytime team, head home and get some sleep. But no, apparantly, the daytime employees feel that the 7 am start time is more of a suggestion than actual requirement. I suppose that it is just too much to expect people to be professional.
